BALSHALA

Operation

Balshala is conducted on designated Sundays in the premises of the Hindu Temple Society of Augusta.
Balshala dates are on the calendar posted on the home page of this website.
Balshala starts at 10:30 AM with morning prayers & assembly at the main temple and ends at 12:00 PM in the Cultural Center. Children are to be picked up between 12 - 12:15 PM.
Each year the Balshala program starts in September on the Sunday after Labor Day and concludes in May on the Sunday before Mothers Day with an End-of-Year presentation and Mother's Day lunch.
Registration begins in August. Last day for registration is typically the first day of Balshala meeting (in Sept) unless the family/child has newly moved into town or other reasons qualify for late registration!
