BALSHALA
Operation
- Balshala is conducted on designated Sundays in the premises of the Hindu Temple Society of Augusta.
- Balshala dates are on the calendar posted on the home page of this website.
- Balshala starts at 10:30 AM with morning prayers & assembly at the main temple and ends at 12:00 PM in the Cultural Center. Children are to be picked up between 12 - 12:15 PM.
- Each year the Balshala program starts in September on the Sunday after Labor Day and concludes in May on the Sunday before Mothers Day with an End-of-Year presentation and Mother's Day lunch.
- Registration begins in August. Last day for registration is typically the first day of Balshala meeting (in Sept) unless the family/child has newly moved into town or other reasons qualify for late registration!
